Font design

This is my font (not finalised... shall post a picture when I have finished computerising it). Most painful process EVER (because I hate typography). Inspired by Thomas Edison's lightbulb and Mark Gowing's 'Hopscotch' font. And before anyone thinks my font looks like Giddy Up.... MY FONT IS BETTER THAN 'GIDDY UP' LOL :(

Today I went to see the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) Poster Exhibition at Gaffa Gallery. It was so much smaller than I thought, but it still had some really good and inspiring work - including one of my tutor's amazing paper art posters! Then I went to have laksa with Julia :)
